Hello, I’m Wendy!
I’m here to share my family’s journey on becoming a homesteader. We are in the works planning to build a chicken coop and a garden, and will be sharing our experiences and challenges. We are excited and looking forward to this adventure. When I share this with others they look at me like I’m crazy! Guys, let’s face it, we don’t know what our future holds, so I feel the need to be prepared. I think through this process we will find that this will bring us back to our mental and physical needs. I believe in staying active and as we age, we need more of it.
I enjoy learning new things and am always picking new hobbies to learn! Some things I’m finding I do enjoy and some I don’t. One of my favorite things to do is to bake! I’ve done a lot of sewing, interior decorating, knitting and crocheting. Although I have limited time, since I work a full-time job, I always find time to learn new things and do the things I enjoy most!
